CCC-Organizational background

Since 1999, the founders of CCC found out that girls as young as 3years old were sexually exploited on the streets of Juba; others were lured into commercial sex for bed and breakfast. They also found that stench, hunger, gloom, alcoholism and disease among families in the cemetery and around Konyokonyo evoked strong compassion and urgency for action.

In 2007, Confident Children out of Conflict (CCC) was established as a National Non-Governmental Organization (NNGO) registered by the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) 255. The Main objective of establishment was to advocate for protection of girls from sexual exploitation, provide psychosocial support for vulnerable, street children and youth.
